SOHO
, where fashion meets art, grows more popular each day. What was once a little-known hideaway for funky boutiques has become New York City's fastest growing shopping area. Avante garde boutiques, spas and galaries are now seeing neighbors such as Tesori, Valentino, Yves St Laurent, Nicole Miller & Armani. A notable recent addition is PRADA. If the totally "mod" shoes and other articles of women's clothing aren't enough to catch your interest, you're sure to marvel at the over-the-top architectural design of this truly decadent boutique. Cascading steps serve a dual purpose as they provide a resting place for both shoppers and merchandise (who's on display?) A clear, cylindrical elevator moves from floor to floor offering original views. Visit them on the corner of Broadway and Prince Street.
